This is only possible because our founder has established rock-solid relationships with lenders over 30 years of serving an industry where he passionately serves small business entrepreneurs.

CDL is the evolution from Canadian Dominion Leasing Corp (CDL), Canada’s oldest name in equipment financing. Founded by a lifelong finance professional, David Roberts, that company has provided personal, professional service to customers coast to coast. His commitment to maintaining relationships, even during the pandemic, through one-on-one meetings live or online has helped cement his ability to consistently offer the best equipment financing solutions for our customers.

Our History
CDL Capital Limited is a new company with a rich history. Our sister company Canadian Dominion Leasing Corporation is the oldest name in equipment leasing in Canada. For over 30 years the principals of this company have financed everything from tugboats to tow trucks, excavators, manufacturing equipment, trucks, trailers, and technology. We finance it all. Our client base is diverse by both industry and geography.
In recent years our business has grown thanks to our clients who have put their trust in us. We’ve responded by leveraging our deep lender relationships to provide a broader range of products including:
